Carolina Gonzalez of NeoVamp has added her wonderfully inventive touch to the wired-ribbon jewelry pouch tutorial I published here a few weeks ago.
She's made her ribbon pouches bigger, and then gorgeously embellished them in her unique NeoVamp style:

Here's a super-quick, super-easy way to make an elegant gift pouch for earrings or other small jewelry. No sewing needed!
No-sew ribbon pouch made by Noreen Doll,
made to hold a 2" x 2" earring card.
Step 1: From a roll of 2.5" wide wire-edged ribbon (available at fabric or craft stores), cut a 7"-long piece.
Step 2: Fold each end of your 7" piece under about 3/8" to make a nicely finished edge.
Step 3: Fold about 2-1/4" of the bottom end of your ribbon up toward the middle.
Step 4: Fold about 1-1/2" of the top of the ribbon down toward the middle. Now you have a little matchbook-shaped pouch.
Step 5: Gently pinch the open sides of the pouch together. The wire edges of the ribbon actually hold the pouch together quite well. Put earrings (or whatever) into your new little no-sew ribbon jewelry pouch.
I bought a 30-foot roll of this wire-edged ribbon on clearance after Christmas (regularly $5.99 per roll, on sale for $1.50).
A 30-foot roll of ribbon will make about 51 of pouches of this size. At regular price, that's about 12 cents per pouch. At the clearance price, it's about 3 cents per pouch.

She's taken this project to a gorgeous new level!

jewelry pouches are a very elegant and well-received way to package your work.
Pouches come in many different styles and sizes, and they can be super-economical when you purchase them in bulk.
However, I think it's a good idea to protect your jewelry in some way before putting it in the pouch, because fabric isn't as sturdy as a jewelry gift box.
So I place the piece of jewelry (along with its hang tag or earring card) inside an individual mini ziplock bag, and then put the ziplock bag inside the pouch.
If I want to use a pouch for a delicate piece of jewelry, I use a pouch that's made of heavier fabric such as velvet.
